That seems a little excessive to me and I don't see the average dealer taking the time to do that. If fact the one shop manual I read even recommended that baseline data be collected on each bike during its break in service so that later if the customer brings it back with a complaint you can scan it again and compare that to the baseline to see what is wrong. Also much more complex information such as injector dwell and ignition advance etc. ![]() It is actually a full blown telemetry / data logging system the can record all the engine parameters such as all the sensor value like throttle position, air pressure and temp, engine temp, system voltage, etc. There is much more the Suzuki Diagnostic System (SDS) can do besides just report the FI error codes.
